Gender Reveal Cakes

Baby showers are very common the united states. During the last five years, gender reveal parties also have risen to fame, particularly in Miami.

We think is a super fun idea to keep the gender of your baby a secret, get all your friends and family together and surprise everyone (even yourselves) with the news!
There are a ton of ways to reveal the gender of your baby: You can pop a balloon and the inside will be filled with decorative confetti with either the color blue for boy or pink for girl.
Keep in mind that other colors can be used, but those are the go-to for these kinds of celebration.

Some other people choose to play games with the parents to be. In fact, you can make the reveal moment as extravagant or as casual as you like.

In general, gender reveal parties tend to be inclusive, and even family that is far away can participate via video calls, Zoom, etc. This is a very fun gathering for everyone, and it is not as pregnancy-focused as Baby Showers. It is a more laid-back atmosphere.

Let the cake do the reveal

Here at T’antay Miami, we like the Cake baby reveal experience to be different. And since we are in the Miami cake industry, our reveal always involves a cake!
This is how it works: The outside design will not reveal anything about the gender of the baby, is the inside where the surprise is.
At the appropriate time, the couple will proceed to cut the cake together, revealing the color of the filling inside! This is the climatic moment of the gathering and we are glad to be part of it.
For the cake filling we can use a single color or shades of the same color in different layers.
We would also place a lovely topper for the occasion. The size of the cake will depend of how big the event is. If you are hosting for 10-15 people, a 6”4 standard size cake should suffice. Some couples have a particular cake designs in mind and all suggestions are welcomed. We always love a challenge!

If you are a couple and are soon to host a Baby Reveal party and need a cake, do not hesitate to contact us.
